Final concert for members of the 5th Grade Band and Honor Band mentors

This is our REQUIRED end-of-year concert for all 6th-8th grade band members. Concert Order: Beginning/Intermediate Band, Jazz Band, Advanced Band, Honor Band

Open to all 6th-8th grade Ruckel Band students willing to put in extra time and preparation, Solo & Ensemble is a great opportunity to perform in a small group or individually for a judge to receive professional feedback.

MPA is an annual assessment for school music programs. This is our FAST testing equivalent. Admission is free and parents are encouraged to come listen as they are evaluated by state-certified adjudicators. This performance is for Advanced Band and Honor Band and is required.

UPDATED 1/25 — For students who auditioned and were accepted into the 2024-2025 Okaloosa County Honor Band

This is an optional event, sponsored by Playground Music, for tuba and euphonium players.

This is a required performance for members of the Football Band. We will attend a Niceville HS football game and perform alongside Eagle Pride and the Lewis Band.

Ram Jam Color Run is a 5k fundraiser for the school. We have been asked to set up a pep band to play at the start/finish line! The sign up sheet is in the band room.
