BAND DIRECTOR
Mrs. Emilia Tenoré
Mrs. Tenoré graduated from Florida State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and the Honors College Medallion in December 2019. While there, she was a member of the clarinet studio under Dr. Deborah Bish, and she performed in the University Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Marching Chiefs. In the Marching Chiefs, she served as a Drum Major during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, which gave her the incredible opportunity to travel to France and commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. Mrs. Tenoré is also an inducted member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
Mrs. Tenoré specializes in woodwind pedagogy and has worked as a woodwind clinician with bands across the state of Florida. In addition, she has taught leadership and conducting clinics in high schools around south Florida and has been on staff for the FSU Marching Band Leadership Camp.
BAND ASSISTANT
Mrs. Rachael Burt
Mrs. Burt graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of the Arts in Anthropology. Although music is not her specialty, Mrs. Burt played trumpet in middle school and understands the ups and downs of learning an instrument. She aspires to eventually work as a full-time social studies teacher, but is happy to be a part of the Ram Band family!
